Gatekeepers now are those who decide what we are allowed and not allowed to see on the internet. They basically have all the power.
The gatekeepers of the future are going to continue to control the internet...especially news sites that are made to inform us on what is going on around the world.
I agree with Brian, when he says that the gatekeeper of the future will be the actual news consumer...I do, however think that future will also be in the hands of the owners of media itself.
They will more than likely be in charge of what goes on the air and the internet.
I'm not exactly sure, of course, what the future will hold...but I do have an idea.
