I remember using Napster back in high school and I was able to get all my favorite songs without having to pay for it at that time. But it did get me to listen to new music and new artists and I eventually went out and bought a CD from music I first found on Napster.
I think that ITUNES will benefit independent artists in the future because it will help them reach a broader audience.
